Writer’s Block

Try reading this aloud.  Then it really does begin to sound like a poem!

Poem in progress

I am writing a poem

Or at least

I want to write a poem

My followers are waiting

For a poem from me

I am waiting for a poem from me

Sometimes

A poem just comes out of the air

And into my head

Sometimes I can be

just lying in bed

Or in the bath

Or on the sofa

Sitting on a chair

Or washing my hair

And suddenly

A poem is there

But I find that today

I have nothing to say

I am waiting for a poem

To come into my head

Maybe I should do

Something else instead

Some people say

That if you want something hard enough

It will happen

Hey

Is this a poem?
